Provenance and Background Info

Retro home drinks bar / cocktail cabinet. Genuine 1950’s vintage piece. Durable vintage construction. Super RARE! I’ve only come across 1 or 2 others in 20 years of trading. iNVISeDGE has never had one before. I’m pretty sure this is an Italian piece. I like that it’s an obvious retro / vintage piece but it’s still quite timeless in its styling as well. It has a sleek stylish quality so won’t scream at you to look at it, even though it’s a stunner!

I also love the spacious storage and the fact it’s not a big piece- it will suit many modern interiors but will not take up a large footprint. The front panels are covered in vinyl- those sections are padded. The white sections of vinyl are not pure white- they have a parchment-like effect with veins of beige, grey etc running through it (a bit like marble in a way). After many modern pieces have ended up as landfill this authentic vintage cocktail cabinet from the 1950’s-era will be passed onto another generation telling more stories as it goes. I can’t think of a better way to invest in your home and reduce landfill. Quality vintage pieces can and do increase in value over time (usually in line with inflation at the very LEAST). In the 20 years I’ve been in this business I’ve seen many vintage items double in value (in less than a decade)- some have quadrupled and I’ve had at least 10 items over the years that have increased in value by over 6 TIMES! (This is whilst you get to use the piece and enjoy having it in your home.)

This 1950's retro cocktail cabinet is about 50 years so will have minor tell-tale signs of use. There is NO abuse- nothing at all that stands out. The piece is structurally solid and sturdy. The base section is metal so nothing can go wrong with that. It presents very well for a piece of this age and is ready to be used and loved in its next home. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Measurements.
