The Delmont design is even more sought-after than the Tessa T21. The Delmont has more exposed timber giving it a designer look with a nice earthy slant. This Tessa Delmont suite is about 45 years old and just look at it! No guessing the quality here. After much of the world’s furniture ends up as landfill, this suite will be passed onto another user and eventually a whole new generation. Now that Tessa Furniture is not made anymore, I can’t see any reason why this design (made in AUSTRALIA) won’t slowly increase to the value they were selling for new (ie. about $9,500 for all 3 pieces). There’s no better way I can think of to invest in your home, the future of our environment and support local small business.

Both chairs and the 2-seater sofa are in excellent original condition with only minor signs of use- certainly nothing that's noticed when you look at the suite and nothing that spoils this set. This furniture is heavy and very solidly built- the T21 design is particularly strong and durable. I've never seen anything structurally wrong with a T21 Tessa chair ever- this furniture is no exception. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
The leather is about 45 years old so not new and shows minor signs of use- it presents very well overall with NO careless damage at all. NO holes, NO cuts, NO cracks in the leather. One back cushion down the bottom of the sofa has wrinkling in the leather- I'd say this will reduce with use. I get the feeling it occurred from how this cushion was stored over a period of time. One seat cushion in that same area of the sofa has minor wear to the leather. It's not noticed but this cushion has had more use than all of the others. The cushioning is all in excellent condition- Tessa used top-quality cushioning that lasts several generations. The cushioning is plush and comfortable. The chairs are very supportive as well.
