Provenance and Background Info

The last time we had a Westnofa Siesta footstool was back in 2014- but that came with a pair of chairs. We’ve never had just a footstool like this on its own (after 24 years in this business). And why would these come up often? If you have a Siesta chair, I don’t think many people would ever see any point in parting with their footstool. The footstool is the only way to improve this iconic chair.

Miss this opportunity and I doubt you’ll come across another for some time, if ever. On a worldwide platform I came across only a few footstools being sold on their own. One was AU $2,040. It appears as though the new ones are being sold in Australia for a staggering AU $2,908! In my eyes, this one has to be more valuable than those. This piece is certainly from the 1970’s AND in the classic vintage tones! It matches the majority of vintage Siesta chairs made back in the day.

To top it off- the leather is original- the highest quality leather you’ll find. As a result this piece is in amazing condition, about 50 years on!
