To extend on what's been written in the main body of this description, the sofa in pristine condition presents close to new. It has barely been used so shows no signs of use. The sofa was pushed up against a power point at the back- this has caused a small area of indentation in the leather down near the floor (but obviously did not pierce the leather). This is not noticeable, especially considering it is down at the floor. I'd say now that the power plug is not pressed against that leather, it will get back to how it was. The second sofa has had more use- it was the sofa used when my vendors wanted to sit down and watch TV in the TV room. It's been used for about 5 years (but not heavily). (These sofas are both 5 years old.) This sofa has mainly been sat on in the middle. The middle seat cushion has minor wear from normal use - NO damage. The leather is perfectly in tact and still resilient. This wear is not significant and of no concern. It's top quality leather so it still has decades of use left in it- based on my experience with leather furniture, I'd say this leather has 40 years use left in it. The upholstered frame and the back cushions will very likely last much longer than 40 years though. The leather on the frame and the back cushions show little of no signs of use. The 2 other seat cushions (on either side of the middle cushion) also show very little use. There are two feint scuff marks on one of the other seat cushions but they are surface only. The construction qualities are amazing- very solid and sturdy- extremely well made furniture (as you expect for something that retails for about $5,500 ($11,000 for both). There is NO movement in any joint, NO repairs, NO structural defects, NO cracks, NO splits- nothing of the sort.
