Being sold under consignment by a regular seller in Bayswater North, MELBOURNE but can be transported Australia-wide for a reasonable additional fee- about $240 to freight the pair up to Sydney.

Background Information and Provenance

A pair of Walter Knoll turtle chairs- these have white bucket seats with an orange textile interior (it looks and feels like wool to me). These were made under license in AUSTRALIA. The pair is about 10 years old. Pearson Lloyd, the renowned design team from London, came up with this expressive interpretation of the bucket chair.

Walter Knoll founded subsidiary company, “Walter Knoll Australia” in 2007. The Australian headquarters and showroom is still in operation in Adelaide, South Australia.

This design has a nice organic shape- all curves and minimalist styling. The comfort is just as exceptional. Perfect angles and lots of plushness. These chairs hold you nicely- they hit your back in exactly the right spot.

  • looks like wool to me- wool is a sensible choice- it repels stains and is widely recognised for its durability
  • quality metal bases- these chairs have some age to them but there’s no noticeable corrosion

This pair of Walter Knoll chairs has been used but is in excellent condition because of the quality of the design, construction and materials used in the manufacture. This pair has minor signs of use. There are NO areas of wear though- just very minor discolouration where you'd expect this to occur, nothing that draws your eye.
