Please note-
Lighting was a challenge when I photographed this suite. The photography was done outside in the middle of the day. Whilst it was largely an overcast day, (which did filter the light sometimes (fully!) which is highly desirable), the clouds and lighting changed during the course of the Photoshoot.
Sometimes the sun came out… Photo 13 is probably the best indication of the colour and tone of the timber and upholstery in an average home. (The photo of the sofa lying down with the back facing up, showing some of the underside.) Because it was midday, the light was coming straight down and was strong. Normally in a home, light would come in at an angle through a window. (To some extent, front onto the timber).
This means the timber is normally shown in shadow here (because the timber is on the side of the chairs, not the front).
I (appropriately), lightened up the timber using Photoshop in 3 photos to give a different lighting scenario. I have included a large variety of photos to show that the colour and tone of these items is influenced by light.
Lighting changes the colour and tone of this suite (as it does with ALL furniture) and in ALL photos!

We have a matching pair of armchairs and a nest of 3 tables (one coffee and 2 side tables) available with this suite.
We would highly prefer to keep the full matching suite together. Pricing depends on how many / what pieces you’d like to purchase.

The value of this design has steadily increased over the years and should only continue to appreciate in the future. The only comparable listings I could find online at this time is a pair of Danish Deluxe Rifka armchairs priced at $2,200 the pair in a less desirable fabric. There’s also a Rifka 2-seater sofa priced at $975 but it’s in dated DAGGY, 1980’s upholstery.

This suite is in excellent condition. It was recently reupholstered and has seen little use since then. The fabric is in brilliant condition overall. It has NO marks, NO stains, NO odours, NO holes. There might be some very minor signs of use on a few armrests but NOTHING noticeable. The timber is in original condition. It may have the odd knock or scratch but again nothing that's noticeable. The timber has minor signs of use and age which is shown in our photos. Click on the Magnifying Tool of each image. Then click on the enlarged image to Supersize it. Read the first paragraph in this listing which comments on lighting. The timber would benefit from a refresh. I'd personally use a strong wood cleaner with steel wool. This would brighten/lighten the timber tone and enhance the overall aesthetic of this suite and would only take a coupla hours at most for a "normal" person. (It would look MUCH better if the timber was clean and in a mid-timber tone- this would happen if you used a GOOD (!!!) STRONG wood-cleaner on it. I can sell you some of the wood cleaner that I use, if you like.) You could obviously sand back the frames instead for PERFECTION (!). Anything done to the timber will further enhance the value and appeal of this furniture. The comfort is exactly as you'd expect from looking at the photos. The furniture supports you in an EXCELLENT seating position. I'm an average height male and the back of these pieces supports some of my neck but not the back of my head unless I'm looking higher up a wall. I also enjoyed lying on the 3-seater sofa- the armrest cushion supports your head PERFECTLY when you're lying out on the sofa.
